New to area, couple searching for friends - mw4mw

Hi! My partner and I have just recently moved to Kalamazoo and are expecting our first baby in March. We like to think of ourselves as adventuresome, outdoorsy types (although we don't get out nearly as often as we'd like to). Most recently we were living in New Mexico, although we're both originally Michiganders. Since coming to Michigan, we've gone canoeing, hiking, beaching, backpacked in Isle Royale, and visited lots with family. Problem is, since living here 15 years ago, most of our friends have moved on to other places. We enjoy eating out (Ethiopian in Grand Rapids is a favorite), playing games (ie, Catchphrase and Carcassonne), going out to the bar (not sure how baby might change this), and are generally up for trying new things. We also have an AWESOME dog who needs new friends as well. If we sound like someone you might get along with, please send a note, I promise to respond quickly!
